Energy upgrade of a house on Filippou Street in Katerini as part of the EXOIKONOMO program.
The project involves the energy upgrade of a ground floor house from energy consumption category H to B+. Specifically, the work included
- replacing the existing wooden frames with PVC frames
- the installation of waterproofing and thermal insulation on the roof slab externally
- installing external thermal insulation on the vertical structural elements of the building envelope
- the installation of an air-to-water heat pump system, the placement of heating units, and the installation of automatic control devices for the heating system operation
- installing two air conditioning units
- and a system for providing hot water with forced circulation using selective flat solar collectors was installed.
